Solving Equations That Include Logarithms

What’s the point in learning about the rules that involve logarithms and exponential functions? To solve equations that we’ve never seen before. Have your quadratic formula handy for this one (if you haven’t already memorized it…), as well as a good understanding of the rules I talk about in other pencasts. Also, when you first look at the equation being solved, remember how up until this point you probably had no idea how to solve it. Now you have the tools to do it!
