Now that you understand the basic properties of logarithms and exponential functions, it’s time to put your knowledge to use. Remember that the natural log and e^x functions are the inverse of each other. Also — simplify things whenever, and wherever you can! You can decode the confusing and complicated information that logs give us only if you understand what logarithms are all about. Then, you can solve a problem with simple algebra.

It has been almost 10 years since I've taken a math class that dealt with Logarithms so I found this pencast especially helpful review since we approached Exponentials and Logarithms in calculus this week! So, watching this pencast and being reminded that lnx=e^x and basic rules for logarithms was a great way to prep for the upcoming chapter.
