Piecewise functions and limits are interesting and have shoed up in some way or other on both tests. I have found that it is good to think about these functions and their properties when doing true or false questions because lots of times a counter example can be found in a piecewise function.
This pencast was a good refresher. I often find myself forgetting about the main rules about piecewise functions even though they aren't extremely complicated. Moreover, I would probably overlook the "greater or equal to" sign or lack thereof on a test if I had not seen it on this pencast.
I agree – This pencast was a good refresher. I remember making this topic a lot harder than it needed to be the first time around and watching this pencast helped me to remember where the small and easy mistakes can come in.
