What Mark Would You Get In A Math Course?
At iSukAtMath.com, we’ve devised a test to find out how well you’d do in a math course without asking you any math questions! The short quiz asks you a wide range of questions about how you work, how you think and more. At the end, you’re presented with your results including the grade you’d likely get in a math course as well as tips and suggestions for improvement that are based directly on your answers.

The one-page quiz is mostly multiple choice or true/false questions like, “I can focus my mind on things if I try” and “I easily remember dates, phone numbers and names”. Behind the scenes we score points into 5 categories: “Self-Image”, “Mind”, “Health”, “Work Style” and “Work Ethic”, each one designed to target your specific habits. We then give you a letter grade and tips and tricks for improving your math skills in the 5 categories.
For example if a person is scoring low in self-image, they are scoring low on questions about:
- Feeling like they are good at math
- Being good handling at challenges/adversity
- Being positive/supporting themselves/positive inner monologue
- Being confident enough/able to help friends with math
- They often sit in the back of class/miss a lot of class
And if a person is scoring low in mind, they are scoring low on questions about:
- Bring able to focus
- Being able to remember numbers, dates
- Being able to understand the text/course material
- Enjoying numbers/doing number puzzles
If a person is scoring low in health, they are scoring low on questions about:
- Eating well
- Paying attention to their body
- Relaxing/meditation
- Being able to handle & reduce stress
If a person is scoring low in work ethic, they are scoring low on questions about:
- Caring about their academic success
- Being efficient/time-management/procrastination
- Working independently/being spoon-fed
- Class attendance
If a person is scoring low in work style, they are scoring low on questions about:
- Having a proven study system
- Having a study area(s)
- Going over lecture notes
- Reworking homework problems for added understanding
- Being able to absorb tough/dense sections of reading
