Dual N-Back Tests have been shown to increase “fluid” intelligence, working memory and boost your ability to solve problems and make sense of confusion.
In an N-Back Test, a series of stimuli (in this case, sounds and shapes) are played in order. When the same sound or shape is played N spaces apart, the user is supposed to press a key. For example, in a Dual 3-Back Test, if the same sound is played 3 spaces apart, the user presses a button. In a Dual 2-Back test, if the same sound is played 2 spaces apart, the user presses the button. By making the user pay attention to both sounds and shapes a certain number of spaces apart, it can help to improve memory and problem solving.
